CoD: Vanguard PlayStation Exclusive Content Officially Revealed
Call of Duty: Vanguard will bring the Caldera Pacific map to Warzone when it integrates in December, so here are all of the new game modes coming with the new Battle Royale experience.
Warzone’s Pacific Map has been officially revealed. Caldera, which would be “built on the teachings of the community,” will arrive with Season 1 on December 2 for Vanguard owners and December 3 for everyone else.
Along with all the new weapons and operators, Warzone Pacific has kept some fan favorite modes and brought some exciting new ones.
Here’s each new mode coming with the Warzone Pacific Caldera Map.
Warzone Caldera Battle Royale
Vanguard integration brings Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons and vehicles to the Pacific, and they can all be found in the Caldera Battle Royale playlist.
This is the standard mode of Warzone, where over 150 weapons from all three games will be available. It also brings all familiar vehicles such as ATVs, SUVs, Berthas, and helicopters. This way, all the skins you bought and earned in Battle Passes will not be wasted.
Looting of the War Zone Caldera
Regular Plunder is also returning with Vanguard Season 1, but more specifically on the new Caldera map.
Warzone fans love this mode for upgrading weapons and warming up for Battle Royale, and weren’t too happy when it was removed from playlists in Season 6.
But Plunder will still be around after integration, including Warzone’s massive arsenal of weapons and vehicles.
Royal Warzone Vanguard
Set in Caldera, Vanguard Royale transforms Warzone into an authentic WWII experience, including only Vanguard weapons and aerial combat.
Vanguard integration brings around 40 weapons from WWII to Warzone, and the developers have included the Vanguard Royale playlist to allow players to try them all out in their own mode.
It also includes Dogfighting, where players can jump into fighter jets to battle each other across the skies. The developers said it was a “precision air attack where you are in the cockpit, ready to rain fire on a squad or defend yours against an enemy pilot.” Players on the ground can also jump into AA guns to defend themselves.
Plunder of the Warzone Vanguard
Similar to Vanguard Royale mode, Vanguard Plunder gives fan favorite mode a WW2 twist.
The mode will probably be very similar, but you will only be able to use Vanguard weapons and vehicles. If you are a Warzone player only, this will be the best mode to upgrade all new weapons.
Vanguard Plunder will arrive later in Season 1.
Warzone Renaissance Island
Renaissance Island is here to stay! Many prefer Rebirth’s smaller and faster battle royale map, and players were concerned that it would disappear alongside Verdansk as well.
But there is no need to worry, the developers have confirmed that he will still be there on November 2 to “continue to complete the main Warzone map”. And with Vanguard owners having early access to Caldera, Rebirth will be there so free-to-play gamers aren’t left out.
It’s unclear if this will be changed given the WWII setting, but we’ll keep you posted if we learn more.
And those are all new Warzone modes confirmed for Season 1! Expect Sledgehammer and Raven Software to continue cooking up new experiences throughout the year.
You can also check out all of the new maps confirmed for Vanguard at launch and shipping that will arrive later.
