Kuwait’s Al-Enzi wins gold at 4th Asian Youth Paralympic Games – ARAB TIMES






MANAMA, December 4: Malak Al-Enezi, a disabled table tennis player from Kuwait, won the gold medal on Saturday after beating her Thai counterpart 3-1 in the final held in Manama at the 4th Asian Games of the Paralympic youth currently organized by Bahrain. Kuwait Paralympic Committee General Secretary Sherifa al-Ghanim said in a press release that Al-Enezi had put on a brilliant and excellent performance that saw him reach the final match and take first place.

This progress made by Al-Enezi shows those who have the insistence and determination to represent Kuwait honorably at the World and Asian Championships, al-Ghanim added. Meanwhile, Al-Enzi expressed his joy at getting the first place and the gold medal. She dedicated this achievement to the people of Kuwait and the sporting family, saying she would maintain this distinguished standard. The event features six Kuwaiti players and more than 1,500 others under the age of 20. (KUNA)
