New Hampshire sportsbook management tops $1 billion in first two years
New Hampshire Lottery and Writing announced Thursday that legal sports betting has passed the billion dollar mark. Since its legalization two years ago, on December 30, 2019, over 23 million bets have been placed. The Lottery also reported $30 million for education.

Governor Chris Sununu said he plans to bet on the Patriots for the upcoming playoffs. The hometown team remains the most bet team, according to the official press release from the Lottery and the company.
Currently, Bets can be placed online or at DraftKings Sportsbooks sites at The Brook in Seabrook and Filotimo Casino in Dover and Manchester.
Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said: “We are pleased with what we have achieved and are excited to continue to develop sports betting as a source of income to support our schools.”
The 2021 Super Bowl was the biggest single-game sports betting event in the past two years, bringing in $7.1 million in wagers. The top five sports for betting are NFL, NBA, College Basketball, College Football, and Table Tennis.
