PointsBet signs deal with IMG ARENA to live stream over 40,000 premium events from top sports properties

sports betting operator PointsBet announced on Tuesday that it will now offer punters On-demand streaming access to over 40,000 premium games and matches through a two-year streaming partnership with the Sports Data and Technology Center IMG ARENA. This decision aims to improve the bookmaker’s in-play betting offer.

Based in London, IMG ARENA has one of the largest portfolios of live streaming content in the worlddistributing over 45,000 hours of content per year on behalf of over 200 federations, associations and events. Their premium content includes properties like MLS, ATP Tour, Roland-Garros, FIVB volleyball competitions and leagues, EuroLeague basketball matches, World Snooker, World Table Tennis and much more.

In a press release, the company explained that punters will have 24/7 streaming availability, as well as “immense access to tennis”, a sport whose sports betting popularity is growing rapidly, with more than 10,000 matches on the ATP Challenger Tour and nearly 25,000 tennis matches in total. For tennis, PointsBet saw a 163% increase in overall handle as well as a 189% increase in live handle.

PointsBet is currently operational in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia; with online casinos in Michigan, New Jersey, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
